Old "Giki" Comics Added.

Aaaaagain, for those of you who don't know me too well (or, at all), most of the art (you will soon see [again]) on this site is based around the series of characters I made in 1992 till about 1997. These characters revolved around stories and comics I made during that time period. On the subject of the comics though, I started the early 90's with 6 of them that I would make on a regular basis..."Giki" was the last comic out of those 6.

Previously named "Gex" in 1993, Giki was the first comic I made that had little to no violence. Giki was an office lizard who worked for an advertising firm... however, his required tasks were unclear. Giki had a boss named "Crock", a friend named "Boris" and a son (also) named Giki (which makes his son a "Junior"). Giki also had an opposite which looked like him but had two horns on his nose and 45 degree Pupils named "Prickle" ("Prick" in 1993, haha!). I first created Giki (naming him "Gex" then, completely a coincidence) to be another friend of Bom, Stripes and Spike. It was after I started reading Dilbert comics in the newspaper that I decided I wanted to make "Gex" an office lizard, calling his comic series "Gex on the Go" which is why you will see his boss call him "Gex" in some comics and "Giki" in the later ones. After finding out about the videogame character, I changed his name to Giki. But enough about his name and creation, lets talk about his character:

I would call Giki the "Anti-Stripes"... for example, instead of being irritated by his surroundings, Giki caused most people to be irritated by him. Giki has a lot more tolerance than Stripes and is more light-spirited. About him in his comics, Giki worked for his boss "Crock" (a crocodile) and was a borderline slacker who loved to golf. As mad as Crock would get at him, Crock never seems to get around to actually firing him. For as many comics as I made about Giki, I never actually wrote a definitive background about him like I did the other 5. Near the start of 1998, the "Humor" (as well as Giki's overall style) would dramatically change because it was then directed towards being a comic for my family (being 80% female... the other 20% being me and my dad) to enjoy as most of my family hated any other comics I made... personally, I like the older ones better.
